The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is recruiting ambulatory and primary care facilities to participate in the Safety Program for Telemedicine: Improving the Diagnostic Process. This free 18-month program seeks to improve the cancer diagnostic process, specifically closing the loop to improve diagnostic verification, timeliness, and communication with the patient.
The program, beginning in June 2023, consists of educational presentations about best practices for closing the loop at critical points in the diagnostic process for breast, colorectal, and lung cancer in the telemedicine environment. Participation in this AHRQ program will provide primary care teams with technical assistance, coaching, webinars, and tools to help implement sustainable improvements in their practice.
