Fall 2022 Knowledge Self Assessments (KSAs)

October 1, 2022 - October 29, 2022

The GAFP is proud to present several virtual opportunities to complete three unique ABFM Knowledge Self-Assessment Workshops. Consider attending one (or all three!) of these convenient virtual opportunities this fall.

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

Please make sure you’re eligible for KSA credit with the ABFM prior to registering for these sessions. This will be our final series of KSA programming for the year. There will not be any live KSA opportunities at the annual meeting.

Registration Fees:

$125 for AAFP/GAFP Members
$175 for Non-Members

Cancellations and refunds (less a $50 admin fee) will be allowed until 1 week prior to your scheduled KSA session.  Refunds and cancellations will not be allowed after this date.

Care of Women – A Virtual KSA Opportunity

The Care of Women KSA (new offering!) will focus on having a better understanding of the unique health care needs as well as common medical conditions experienced by gender-identified women including gynecologic conditions and reproductive health, diagnosis and treat behavioral and mental health conditions in female patients, increasing knowledge and understanding of pre-conception care and prenatal care and being better prepared to diagnose and manage conditions experienced during and after pregnancy. 

Diabetes – A Virtual KSA Opportunity

The newly revised Diabetes ABFM-developed KSA activity focuses on preventing and diagnosing diabetes mellitus, recognizing the clinical implications of insulin-resistance syndromes, recognizing, and managing microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus, managing diabetic ketoacidosis and non-ketotic hyperosmolar coma, nonpharmacologic management of diabetes mellitus, and pharmacologic management of diabetes mellitus.
