Georgia Academy Leaders Meet with Georgia Congressional Leaders

During the U.S. Congressional District Work Period, Georgia leaders were busy meeting with some of our key Congressional leaders.  Congressman Buddy Carter met with Dr. Chip Cowart in Savannah, and Congressman Rick Allen met with Dr. John Gerguis at his clinic in Statesboro.

In-depth conversations were held focusing on the importance of family medicine, rural health care, and key primary care initiatives.

Both of these Georgia Academy members are part of the AAFP’s Federal Key Contact Program. Interested in learning more? Click here:              https://www.aafp.org/advocacy/key-contacts/about.mem.html
