The countdown is on to renew your GAFP membership. If you have not yet paid your dues or reported the required CME for your re-election cycle, do so before March 1, 2024, or you risk being dropped from AAFP membership.
Dues can be paid by using AAFP QuickPay – or by calling the AAFP membership team at 800-274-2237.

A requirement for AAFP membership is 150 CME credits per three-year re-election cycle. 75 of those must be Prescribed Credits.
Don’t forget the AAFP gives CME credits for activities that you probably already do! For example:
- the AAFP counts meetings that you attend as CME credit (i.e., staff meetings, hospital meetings, and committee meetings all count as CME credit).
- Unpaid interns shadowing in your practice.
- Teaching or moderating an AAFP-approved course, teaching other healthcare professionals, or teaching members of your community!
- Reading medical journals.
