Description: All forms of violence are connected. No matter the form violence takes, each is interconnected and are a result of the same causes. These causes are present at the individual, family, community, and societal levels. In this presentation, participants will explore the shared risk and protective factors of violence (suicide, bullying and child abuse and neglect) that affects youth, the prevention strategies and resources that are available to gain more knowledge.

Objectives:

1. Describe suicide, child abuse and neglect and bullying prevention in Georgia.
2. Illustrate the intersection of suicide, bullying and child abuse and neglect using the shared risk and protective factor framework and social determinants of health.
3. Recognize resources and additional training for physicians and resources to share with youth and parents.
