The AAFP is working with the Regulatory Relief Coalition (RRC) in a new public awareness campaign regarding prior authorization. The RRC is a group of national physician specialty organizations advocating for reduced administrative and regulatory burdens that interfere with patient care.
The key to their advocacy efforts is sharing the impact of prior authorization on patients and physicians with policymakers and the public. The AAFP asks that you help them gather stories that demonstrate the real-life consequences of delayed care resulting from onerous prior authorization requirements.
They are collecting stories through RRC’s Story Portal and advertising to patients through a Printable Patient Handout.
